Appointments are available Monday through Wednesday during office hours, from 08.30 am until 6.30 pm, and Thursday mornings from 9 am until 12 noon.
The appointment slots for after 4 pm are popular. If the late afternoon is your preferred time for a session, I strongly advise booking your appointments in advance to avoid disappointment. If you want a routine with your appointments, such as a regular day and time. Again, I recommend you book ahead to ensure you get what you want. My diary is busy, and the best way to ensure you have the right level of support and continuity is to book your appointments in advance.
This will be discussed at the initial consultation.
The Consultation & Admin
I’ll be honest—I’m not the best with admin tasks. I tried an automated email system that worked well in some ways, but I found it interfered with what matters most to me, and that is the connection with people who reach out, and I realised how much I missed that in early client engagement.
I’ve returned to a more personal system that offers online appointment bookings, but it relies on me sending you the links directly. I used to have my diary available through my website, but I had to take it down for personal safety reasons. So, it's back to me managing things behind the scenes. This does carry some risks because I can be forgetful at times—tick the box for extreme dyslexia! I’m not big on labels, but they can be useful shorthand.
So, I ask for your patience. There’s a deep sense of care behind this less corporate approach to communication. Every message I send you is written with intention, holding you in mind as I type. My initial communications tend to be brief, as I prefer to wait until we meet to explore where you are and where you’d like to go. I value and appreciate the information you provide when requesting a consultation, and it’s helpful for me to assess if I’m the right person for you.
In our first session, after the initial online consultation, we’ will dive into the work at a pace that feels right for you. We will work together on how to proceed, and I’ll guide accordingly. Sometimes, we meander, and that’s okay—I’m always tracking the conversation and what is being revealed. These deviations reveal even more than we expect: being too rigid in therapy isn’t helpful. Holding space and making good use of time is productive.
The key to the change is feeling safe and understood. That’s a powerful emotional space to be in, and when we’ are relaxed, we can do wonderful things for ourselves. You’ll be amazed at what you can achieve.
